The Barcelona International Comedy Festival continues to build and heads towards its 3rd edition buoyed by 2009's success, and inspired to create the most innovative programme possible for 2010.

Festival programming is based on a commisioned core of singular events surrounded by a broader open invitation platform.

The Festival 2010 will seek to provide a link between artists and venues, promotion, publicity, media liason, ticketing and other support services.

If you are interested in taking part in 2010 then you should drop us a mail and we will forward an application with an outline of conditions and deadlines

Thanks to everyone who came and laughed.

Last words of wisdom to Adam Hills from interview with ABC Nov 2009:
Performing in a country with a different language is always really interesting, because you never know which bits aren't going to work until you say them. There are so many phrases, colloquialisms, and words that you take for granted, until you find yourself on stage in Holland trying to explain to three hundred people what a hymen is.
It's a great feeling afterwards when it works, cos it means that your humour can break through the language barrier, and find the universal funny.
